Stender Campaign Announces Over $2.2 Million Raised to Date
Raised Over $680,000 for Third Quarter

FANWOOD - Today, the Linda Stender for Congress campaign announced it had raised well over $2.2 million to date. For the third quarter, Stender raised $681,000 and currently has almost $600,000 cash on hand. “I am gratified by the continued support for my campaign,” said Stender. “Everywhere I go in the 7th District, I hear from voters who are hungry for change and a new direction after the failed policies of President Bush and Republicans in Washington.”

FANWOOD, N.J. — Democrat Linda Stender hopes to repeat much of what she did when she ran for Congress in 2006 — everything but the part where she lost the election.
Stender, a New Jersey state lawmaker, lost to a Republican incumbent two years ago by fewer than 3,000 votes. Now, she is making a second run in a race that is among the most competitive in the nation.
